The following
information is offered as a guide to help navigate you through
the 'getting started' process. Simply follow the 'links' offered
on this page…
1. Complete the online
forms. If your browser will not allow you to complete them
online (or if you are uncomfortable with this for any reason),
simply send us an email at scott@reallifefitness.net
or call us at (530) 265-4041 and request forms be sent or faxed
to you or arrange to pick up a packet at the studio. Then return
the completed forms to us.
2. If you have not already done so, check with your doctor. Inform
him/her of your desire to start an exercise program and discuss
any possible concerns or restrictions.
3. Feel free to review our staff resumes.
At this point, please discuss this with Scott during your initial assessment. We assign each client two trainers.
4. Review our services…start with Personal
Training. This will help you decide between in-home, studio or small group training. Check out the specialized training options if you have a particular goal that applies to you, i.e. running, golf, post rehab, prenatal, etc.
5. Review our fee schedules.
This will assist you in setting a realistic budget for your exercise
program. We will make specific recommendations regarding the frequency,
duration and type of sessions during your initial fitness assessment.
6. After receiving and reviewing your completed forms, Scott will
contact you to schedule your initial fitness assessment.
7. Please be keep the following in mind:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and athletic shoes to your initial assessment appointment.
Please allow approximately 90 minutes for this appointment.
After reviewing your health history, your goals and your
assessment results, Scott will make some specific recommendations.
Have your calendar with you as you and Scott will be reviewing
your schedule for the rest of the current month in preparation
for reserving your training sessions. Typically, your trainers
will be in touch by phone to set these sessions up and an
invoice will be emailed or hand delivered to you on your first
appointment.
You will be paying for your assessment ($75) at this time, so please have your checkbook or cash with you (we do not accept credit card payment for this service).
Scott will also review the Personal Training Agreement with you and you will both sign it. You will be given a copy of this agreement for your reference.
8. All subsequent training sessions will be scheduled with your trainers by the month and you will be invoiced by mail or email (your choice).
Now,
you are on your way to achieving your fitness goals! Congratulations on making
one of smartest decisions you'll ever make! Welcome aboard !!! |
